Yet another way we are thwarted from going back home :)
Of course the description of the UK as "home" is a mistake as well.
Checked with the vet about the rabies requirements for the UK. I was convinced we had met them all, but she wasn't. I found out we had not kept the boosters up to date. Missed one last year and the vet said there was no point till we were leaving. What she forgot to mention, and I should have realised, was that the rabies injection and blood test has to be done six months before leaving!
Luckily this only applies to the UK (and maybe Sweden) so we could go to anywhere else, including Denmark. Guess if we really have to go back, we could take Nibbles to Slovenia and leave her with my sister till the six months is up.
But we have all decided this is another reason why we shouldn't go back.
