Now it seems as though the Russians are going to try and get rid of Saakashvili altogether. Russia's foreign minister has said he 'must go' and Russian ambassador to the UN also described him as having 'become an obstacle'. I wonder who they'd propose instead, presumably Shevardnadze is still creaking around somewhere. He'd probably make a good puppet.
