I don't know if it's just this news reader or the BBC in general, but their line on this conflict is becoming more and more clear.
To give an example, here's a question posed by the interviewer to a Georgian correspondent:
'Isn't it perfectly reasonable for the Russians to respond in this way given that 2/3 of the South Ossetian population has Russian passports?'
I dont know on when exactly it's a perfectly reasonable policy to invade another country, especially given that the South Ossetians were only given Russian passports in the first place so that Russia could stir up trouble in and exert influence over Georgia
