From bad to worse

Everyone who is interested in the reality of Ukraine's current politics should read Foreign Notes' recent post here about what is going on in Party of the Regions own backyard, the Donbass, in the mining management.

The tactics have regressed to the purges of the 30s, only the destination and numbers are still within civilised limits. But for how long? Already we have the SpetzNaz brought in.

suppression of the mass disorders and revolts in prisons, colonies, rescue of the hostages seized and deducted in prisons and colonies, barricades situation in these establishments, search and detention run made.

But it is being used to evict people from their jobs (from Foreign Notes):

In the "SverdlovAntratsit" works the matter reached complete absurdity. To dismiss its director, Yevgeny Gorovog from his job, ministerial officials with SpetzNaz [Special Force] troops entered into his office, read out an injunction, and evicted him through the door.
